SERC Fast Break Points ACC/Big Ten Challenge

  • This is the 18th ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Big Ten won the challenge last season 8-6,
  • The ACC has won 100 of the 183 games played, ACC leads series 100-83.  
  • Teams leading at the half are 137-43 in the challenge. 10-4 last season, Iowa overcame a 1st half deficit over Florida State, Minnesota came back on Clemson, Penn State erased a Boston College lead and Notre Dame came back on Illinois.  
  • This season Boston College is the ACC team that is not participating.  
  • If the challenge is tied the Commissioner’s Cup will stay with the Big Ten, the last outright winner.  
  • Duke has the best Challenge record at 15-2; while Purdue has the top Big Ten mark at 9-6

  • This is the 1st meeting between the two teams.
